Vocational education is an integral part of the education system of Ukraine. Vocational education is a complex of educational and organizational management measures to ensure the citizens of mastering knowledge, abilities and skills in their chosen field of professional activity, the development of competence and skills, educating the general and professional culture. Vocational education is obtained in the vocational and technical training institutions.Vocational training provides for a citizens' professional abilities and skills needed to perform a specific job or group of works, and can be implemented in vocational training institutions and by individual or course of study at work, in the service sector.Vocational education provides for citizens to trade in accordance with their vocation, interests, abilities, and pre-vocational training, retraining and professional development.Pre-professional training — is to obtain basic vocational knowledge, skills, individuals who had not previously had a working profession.Initial training — it's vocational-technical education of persons who had not had a blue-collar occupation, or profession, other educational qualification level, which provides an appropriate level of professional skills necessary for productive careers.Retraining workers — is a vocational training aimed at mastering other profession workers who have the primary training. Professional development of workers — is vocational training of workers, which makes it possible to expand and deepen previously mined professional knowledge, abilities, and skills to meet the demands of production or services.
