My favourite character is Sherlock Holmes. He was created by Arthur Conan Doyle who wrote twenty-six stories about him but in the end he decided to kill his hero.Sherlock Holmes is not only a talented detective but he is also a very interesting person.On the one hand, he likes boxing but on the ther, playing violin. He uses deductive method to solve a crime. Even a look at a person can tell Sherlock a lot about this person’s life and his character. Holmes’ main advisers are logic and common sense. He is always reserved and calm and does not believe in superstitious. His friend Dr. Watson always accompanies him and wonders how Holmes manages to find out the truth. Sherlock Holmes combines the incredible power of observation with simple human weaknesses. And this combination gives the character a special charm. He can be lazy sometimes staying in bed, not going out for several day and smoking a pipe all day long or be very active and energetic going to the other part of London, to other small town to inspect the crime scene and solve it. I think that Sherlock Holmes is a very captivating and attracting character. And I dream one day to visit his museum in Baker Street in London where, according to the book, he lived.
