The history of English language has begun in V century when to Britain at that time occupied by Celts and partially by Romans, three German tribes have intruded. These languages have remained and today: they are called as the Celtic languages, unlike the German English language. Because of it the French language of the whole two centuries was language of English aristocracy, and old English was applied by a commonalty. This historic fact has rather essentially affected in English: In it there was a set of new words, the dictionary has increased almost twice. Therefore in lexicon of English language on two variants of English — high and low, accordingly the French and German origin, — it is possible to feel splitting clearly enough and today.
