These ideas stemmed such groups like CND, who have argued wih reductions for years. CND was launched in London in 1958 in a meeting of five thousand enthusiasts. In that time, Britain had just begun to test its own H-bomb, & the policy having its own nuclear weapons to stop other countries of attacking had been made official. By 1961 there were nearly one thousand CND groups in Britain which protecting increased expenditure of nuclear arms. But since then, there had been a decline of member ship.
